Building your personal wealth requires thoughtful analysis and an insightful investing strategy. At Jacobs Investment Management, clients benefit from the experience and methods of a large investment company while enjoying the personalized attention that can only come from working with a small boutique firm.
Investment Philosophy
The core investment philosophy is based on a set of fundamental concepts called QVM -- Quality, intrinsic Value and Management. QVM leads to the identification and purchase of high quality, well-managed companies that trade at a discount to their true worth. It is what sets Jacobs Investment Management apart from other money managers and brokers.
Bill Jacobs, president, founded Jacobs Investment Management in 2006 after spending thirteen years with Chicago-based Harris Associates and its Oakmark Funds. As a partner in the firm, he was a research analyst supporting over $45 billion in domestic assets and a portfolio manager for high net worth clients. Bill holds a BSE degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MM degree from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
